Tuesday, March 25th, Day Air Ballpark hosted the 25th Season Celebration Game. The 25th Season Celebration is for the Dayton Dragons, High-A affiliate for the Cincinnati Reds. Fortunately, the Dragons are relatively close to where I am, considering I’m from the ‘Gem City’ Dayton, Ohio.
Chase Petty started the game on the bump for the Reds and Adam Serwinowski for the prospects.
A sell-out crowd of 8,515 fans were in attendance at Day Air Ballpark!
The prospects pulled it off in the 9-inning battle vs the Reds. Final score was 7-5 and you could say it was a slugfest in this one. Multiple HRs from both teams, great pitching from both sides. Most importantly, it was an amazing event.

Will Banfield & Will Benson.
Elly De La Cruz had 2 hits in his trips to the plate.
Noelvi Marte had the run-scoring single in the eighth to give the Prospects team a 6-5 lead. They added one more in the ninth inning to close out the scoring.
