Photo 1: Ticket stub from Derek Jeter’s 3000th-hit game, July 9th, 2011. One of the greatest SS of all-time.
Photo 2: Photo of Gary Vaynerchuk “GaryVee” and BengeHustle (me) at the National Sports Card Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. This was my first NSCC and took place in July, 2024. An icon and an idol to me and my passion for chasing BengeHustle.
Photo 3: Pete Rose Memorial behind the main entrance of Great American Ball Park after the Reds vs. White Sox game on Pete Rose Day, May 14th.
Photo 4: Pete Rose autographed baseball inscribed “I’m Sorry I Bet On Baseball”. This baseball is also authenticated by PSA! I purchased this legendary piece of baseball history less than ONE MONTH BEFORE being removed from the MLB Hall of Fame Permanently Ineligible List, along with Shoeless Joe Jackson and others! Finally, the greatest hitter of ALL-TIME will be inducted into the Hall of Fame!
Photo 5: Zack Hample autographed baseball from the Cincinnati Reds game June 17th, 2017. Zack picked this ball up using his “cup-on-a-string” mechanism that he uses in some of his videos to get baseballs that are stuck or in places where stadium staff or players don’t often hang around or are able to get to. It’s a perfect solution for some of the baseballs and I love the idea! Zack Hample is the home run shagging king with well over 10,000+ collected baseballs from attended MLB games during his life. Zack also has a documentary called “Zack Hample vs. The World”.
Photo 6: My first ON-THE-FLY HOME RUN CATCH! I caught a home run when I was 13 years old at a Cincinnati Reds vs Atlanta Braves game TWO WEEKS BEFORE I MET ZACK HAMPLE! This Reds game was also featured that day on national TV and this is a screenshot from the video that MLB posted on their website of the home run that was hit by Jose Peraza. R.A. Dickey was the pitcher for the Braves. The pitch Dickey threw Jose that ended up being the home run I caught was a Knuckleball!
I love sharing my journey with you guys, let me know what your thoughts are on these pieces of MLB history and my personal collection! This is only a small sample of the memories i’ve made and plan to share.
